Payment and Booking FAQs
Q: How do I make a payment?
A: Click the ‘LOGIN’ button on our homepage/ under the ‘My Booking’ dropdown bar you will find the option to ‘LOGIN’ or ‘MAKE A PAYMENT’ – either of these options will allow you to view your account and group. Once directed, click the ‘view your booking’ button, which will take you to the booking homepage. From here a payment tab will appear towards the top of the page.  Click here to make a payment using your debit/credit card. Please ensure the address you entered on setup is the correct one registered with the debit/credit card.
 
Q: I tried paying for Tour and the money has gone out of my account more than once. What has happened?
A: This may be an error due to a duplicate payment form being submitted, please contact your Tour account manager who will be able to resolve this for you. 
 
Q: When do we get free places? How do I allocate them?
A: We offer one free place to every 25 paying passengers. So if you want to go for free just get 25 friends together and you're away!! We will allocate the free places after the deposits for your group are all paid in, just let us know the names of the people receiving them.
 
Q: Someone from my group lives in Spain/Italy/Germany, etc… Can they meet us on Tour?
A: Yes they can, providing they are part of the group and pay the full Tour price. They just need to use the ‘arrange your own flights’ package. This includes the full package without travel.
 
Q: We have a couple of ex-students that want to come on the Tour, is this possible?
A: The more the merrier! Graduates/ex-students are more than welcome to join their former team-mates as members of student Tour parties - the group leader is required to ensure they understand the nature of the event and is responsible for these individuals as they would be for any member of their Tour party.
 
Q: How much does it cost to make a name change? One of our team mates has dropped out.
A: Name change rates depend on how soon in advance you notify us. 
  • 1st December 2018 to 25th January 2019 = £40
  • 26th January 2019 to 7th March 2019 = £85
  • 8th March 2019 to 15th March 2019 = £150

Name changes are not available after the 16th March 2019. 

 
Travel and package FAQs
Q: What do we do if we want to book our own flights?
A: If you would like to book your own flights, select the AYOF package of your preferred destination. We do not book flights for you, but we can assist you with the booking and payment of transfers. Groups with over 40 travelling passengers on the same flight may qualify for a free transfer. Confirm this with your account manager if you qualify.
 
Q: What time will our coach depart?
A: The departure times for your coach will depend on where you are in the UK and this information will be in the Group Leader's final Tour pack sent out four weeks prior to departure. Confirmed passengers will be provided with an E-ticket. 
 
Q: Can our coach pick up/drop off people en route?
A: Only under certain circumstances, please ask ILOVETOUR staff for details. There will be a pick up fee.
 
Q: Will we have a coach to ourselves?
A: Dependent on the number of passengers travelling with your group. Sometimes you may be required to share with another team from your University or otherwise if you don’t fill the available seats. This helps to keep the cost of your tour affordable.
 
Q: Where will the coach groups be picked up from?
A: Your pick up location is usually your University, sometimes we may ask you to be flexible when sharing a coach with other groups.
 
Q: Do we pay more if we want to get picked up from Scotland?
A: Any groups departing from Scotland must pay an extra £25 supplement.
 
Q: Can we drink or smoke on the coach?
A: British transport and many other European countries ruling states that alcohol and smoking are prohibited on all coach journeys. There are regular stops on route so you will have an opportunity to smoke.
 
Q: Will we be in the same hotel?
A: Every team and club will be in a selection of hotels, and you will be more than likely to be in the same hotel as other teams from your university in Italy, Croatia & Prague. However, due to the hotels being smaller in Italy, you are not guaranteed to be in the same hotel as the rest of the teams from your university. We will endeavour to put you in a nearby hotel if we do have to split you up.
 
Q: Need a statement written by ILOVETOUR for a Visa?
A: If any students require a VISA to travel, they must contact their embassy to find out what is required of them. Once they have all the relevant information, contact your account manager for a statement.
 
Sport FAQs
Q: Are the sports tournaments social or competitive?
A: We arrange for experienced qualified (e.g. UEFA, RFU) officials for all competitions. Each two-day tournament is overseen by one of our regular tournament directors who are directly managed by the festival sports director. We provide all the venue equipment and first aid cover at first class facilities as we recognise the importance for providing a quality sports event - regardless of the competitors, be they elite or social.
 
Q: Is there a limit on the amount of teams or people we can take? Can we take supporters?
A: There is no limit on number of students you can take. Although to qualify for the sports tournaments you must hit the minimum numbers to be able to play! If you do not reach the required numbers to play whilst on Tour you will forfeit your match. Supporters are always welcome!
