Q.

How do I make a payment?

A.

Click the ‘LOGIN’ button on our homepage/ under the ‘My Booking’ dropdown bar you will find the option to ‘LOGIN’ or ‘MAKE A PAYMENT’ – either of these options will allow you to view your account and group. Once directed, click the ‘view your booking’ button, which will take you to the booking homepage. From here a payment tab will appear towards the top of the page.  Click here to make a payment using your debit/credit card. Please ensure the address you entered on setup is the correct one registered with the debit/credit card.

 

Q.

I tried paying for tour and the money has gone out of my account more than once. What has happened?

A.

This may be an error due to a duplicate payment form being submitted, please contact your Tour account manager who will be able to resolve this for you. The money will not be accepted by us and should be back in your account within 3-5 working days. However, just contact us if you have any questions at all!

 

Q.

Why haven’t I received my Damage Deposit?

A.

Damage Deposits are refunded to the last card used for a transaction on your ILOVETOUR booking. If you have shared your card with a friend, we can only refund against it once. Please keep this in mind when you’re being everyone’s saviour on final balance deadline day!

 

Q.

When do we get free places? How do I allocate them?

A.

We offer one free place to every 25 paying passengers. If you want to go for free just get 25 friends together and you're away!! We will allocate the free places after the final balances for your group are all fully paid. Just let us know the names of the people receiving the free places.

 

Q.

We have a couple of ex-students that want to come on the Tour, is this possible?

A.

In most cases this is completely fine. However, in some circumstances Alumni and Non-Students are not eligible to travel on certain ILOVETOUR trips - so just check with a member of the ILOVETOUR team first.

 

Q.

How much does it cost to make a name change? One of our team mates has dropped out.

A.

Name change rates depend on how soon in advance you notify us. 

  • 29th November 2019 to 23rd January 2020 = £40
  • 24th January 2020 to 21st February 2020 = £85
  • 22nd February 2020 to 1st March 2020 = £150

Name changes are NOT available after the 1st March 2020

 

 

Q.

I’ve lost my card since Final Balance, what should I do?

A.

Our damage deposits are refunded to the last card used for a transaction on the ILOVETOUR website. If you lose or cancel your card prior to the damage deposit refund, you will need to let us know for the damage deposit refund to be possible. To add your new card, we will need to do a £1 transaction through our booking system, which will be refunded at the same time as your damage deposit. This will be refunded to you at the same time as the remaining damage deposit.

 

 

TRAVEL & PACKAGE FAQ'S

Q.

What do we do if we need to book our own flights?

A.

If you would like to book your own flights, select the AYOF package of your preferred destination. We do not book flights for you, but we can assist you with the booking and payment of transfers. Groups with over 40 travelling passengers on the same flight may qualify for a free transfer – please speak to your account manager to confirm this.

 

Q.

What time will our coach depart?

A.

The departure times for your coach will depend on where you are in the UK and this information will be included on your e-ticket and will be sent out approximately two weeks prior to departure.

 

Q.

Can our coach pick up/ drop off people en route?

A.

No, our coaches must run to a strict schedule to allow you to make the most of your time on Tour. If your University Campus pick up is not convenient please select and pay for the Southern Pickup prior to the deadline.

 

 

Q.

Someone from my group lives in Spain/Italy/Germany.... can they meet us on tour?

A.

Yes they can using the 'arrange your own flights' package. This includes the full package without travel.

 

Q.

Will we have a coach to ourselves?

A.

Dependent on numbers, you may have to share the coach with a team from your university or another group. Should your team be big enough, we will always endeavour to provide you with your own coach. 

 

Q.

Do we pay more if we want to get picked up from Scotland

A.

Any groups departing from Scotland must pay an extra £25 supplement. This goes toward the additional fees incurred due to the longer journey.

 

Q.

Can we drink or smoke on the coach?

A.

British transport and many other European countries state that alcohol and smoking (including e-cigarettes) are prohibited on all coach journeys. There are regular stops during your journey to have the opportunity to smoke.

 

Q.

Will we be in the same hotel?

A.

We will endeavour to place you in the same hotel as the rest of your University where the resort capacities permit this. Should you have any special requests, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

 

Q.

I need a statement written by ILOVETOUR for a Visa?

A.

If any students will need a visa to travel, they must contact their embassy first to find out what information they will need before contacting us for a statement. Please be aware that you may potentially need more than one VISA.

 

Q.

Are the sports tournaments social or competitive?

A.

Using a range of qualified officials and experienced sports staff we put together both social and competitive sports tournaments to ensure there is something for everyone. If you are unsure of what you would like to get involved in, then please feel free to contact us for advice.

There is always something you can get involved in depending on how competitive you want to be!

 

Q.

Is there a limit on the number of teams or people we can take? Can we take supporters?

A.

There is no limit on the number of students you can take, but there are minimum squad numbers for the different sports tournaments. As spaces are limited book early to avoid disappointment. All supporters are welcome!
