Joining our events team or sports staff team and helping run one of our
ILT university events is incredibly rewarding, great fun and a great
addition to your CV if you're thinking of working in event management,
sports and leisure or the travel industry.
We require different types of reps to work at our University Festivals
over March and April every year.
These include some paid positions:
Hotel Reps:
Organised and confident? 'Run' one of our hotels for 4 nights! Oversee
group arrivals/departures check-in and briefing, assist group leaders
with their tour parties throughout the week including getting to the
sports events and of course, any incidents or accidents that may crop
up.
All Hotel reps must attend a half day training session at ILT
headquarters in Chesham, Bucks as well as an extra day in resort for
training and orientation.
Student Assistance:
Comfortable dealing with difficult situations?! The performance of our
Student Assistance team is crucial to the happiness and well-being of
our tourists. A position of responsibility, first-aiders and those with
experience of dealing with large student crowds are ideal.
CRB check may be required and an extra day in resort for orientation
and thorough briefing will be provided.
Sports Staff:
We need lots of qualified and experienced sports officials to act as referees, umpires and tournament directors.
We're always happy to hear from regional/county sports bodies- for
example 99% of our rugby referees come from the London and Hertfordshire
referees society- a great way to wind down at the end of a hard season!
